Mary Dyer grew up watching her idol and fellow francophile, Julia Child, inject humor and humanity into the culinary world, from a home cook’s perspective. Five years ago, Mary parlayed her love of entertaining from a hobby into a successful Personal Chef business, specializing in home entertaining. Owner of ChowForNow, Mary makes house calls, offering cooking lessons in her clients’ kitchens. She is best known for whipping up memorable and delicious food with a “Wow” factor at home-hosted cocktail parties, weddings, birthdays, and other special events. But to this day Mary remains dedicated to demystifying the craft of cooking. A self-taught cook, Mary is a certified Food Manager and will soon earn a Bachelor’s degree in French, the language of cuisine.
